Funny My Hero Academia Fantasy Au

The Fantasy AU is a reimagining of My Hero Academia taking place in a fantasy setting. It's been seen in art by Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of BNHA, and is arguably the most popular AU amongst fans.

The Fantasy AU is also depicted in the second season two ending and is the origination of most fans' knowledge of it. There is also a bonus chapter involving the Fantasy AU in the 3rd volume of My Hero Academia School Briefs (the light novel series).

Headcanons [ ]

Izuku Midoriya [ ]

- Izuku Midoriya met Toshinori (All Might), a strong and possibly the strongest Paladins to have ever lived, and was a symbol of heroic honor and peace to all champions and people in the world! His time as a champion was dwindling due to his seriously injuries when he fought an incredibly powerful dark wizard a few years before he met Midoriya, who went by the name "All for One". Toshinori, unfortunately, had to step down from being a paladin and then became a traveller. He met Midoriya and trained him as his disciple so that he could wield the powers Toshinori had. Midoriya wanted to follow in Toshinori's footsteps to become very a powerful paladin and even surpass Toshinori, and one day defeat All for One.

- Midoriya goes on a long dangerous quest to find All for One. Along the way, he makes many great friends and meets strong enemies.

- He was lucky enough to manage to forge a contract with Bakugo (who often tries to kill him).

As the young Izuku embarks on a journey, he finds an ornament that had an enchanting appearance and a mystical, trustworthy aura that lured him to interest. As he lays his curious hands on it, he passes out and dreams about a weird man that tells him that he would become a great adventurer that would stop the commotions around the world. The strange man states his wish - that he could also come along on the journey to stop All for One. Although he rephrases it, he rephrases it as he would stop his older brother, and trusts the latter to do it. The man somehow knew about One for All, but again states that he changes his mind and says that 'he already gained it.'. This leaves the amateur Izuku questioning. "How did he know that I had One for All? And why is he calling my enemy his brother?". These burning questions run through his mind until the strange man brings it up again; he claims that he was the first, and Izuku is the ninth. This truly confuses Izuku, and he fears the knowledge of the mysterious man. The man begs to bring him on the journey again, though he changes his mind again. The man promises that he would help Izuku with his granted power by living in his mind as seven other people appear out of nowhere with determination in their eyes. And after that, Izuku wakes up with the ornament destroyed, and ever since, the man and the other seven would always appear to help him.... To Be Contunued.

Katsuki Bakugo [ ]

-This is just my headcanon that I like to think of. Bakugo is a barbarian who lives in the mountains. Though his tribe has no real royalty, there is a hierarchy and Katsuki is the son of the Chieftess. After getting into a fight with his mother, Katsuki grabbed his dragon and flew off into the skies. He made himself a home in separate place where he lived alone with Kirishima, his dragon. Though it wouldn't be his only true friend soon enough Kaminari came along and started hanging out it took a while but Bakugou began to appreciate the idiot because outside of kirishima he is the only one to stay by his side. Kaminari eventually turned Kirishima back to human. One day, Deku and his group accidentally stumble upon his land and he works to scare them off. Soon, though, he is forced to join forces with them to try to fight off All for One and (reluctantly) joins their group. Though after the battle he became friends with Mina, Sero, Jirou, and Momo.

Shoto Todoroki [ ]

-Todoroki's parents had a monarch family. Enji, who wielded powerful fire magic, was a soon to become king.

-The Todoroki family has its history behind the thrones though. Once Shoto was born, he was immediately trained to become the most powerful mage and swordsman in all the land. After every thing he takes over his family monarch. (By golden harp54)

Tenya lida [ ]

-Iida is training to be a Silver knight and avenge his brother who was gravely injured in a battle between the knights of the kingdom and a dark wizard. He wants to hunt down the evildoer responsible. (by Weirdo_Homeland)

Ochako Uraraka [ ]

- Uraraka was a witch born with a lot of potential. However, when All for One took over when she was 5, all the curses that she caused were blamed on the good witches and Wizards. At a young age, she got the mindset that all witches and wizards were bad. So she put her wand away and never touched it again until she was 15 when she was forced to take action when her village was raided. Because of her lack of magic usage, she's not good at magic as she used to be.

She's level 3 of 20 levels, and at her age, she should be a Level 10 (Weirdo_Homeland)

- She is quite clumsy while doing magic, so occasional accidents happen while she tries. She has no confidence in her talent and ends up messing up. But as she met Midoriya, she gained a little something for the lad. She soon became confident in her craft and began to gain her presumption. She continues to train for her goals as she gets more inspired by the adventurer. ( By AbyeKotoriAssuko)

Sometimes she can cast powerfull spells but when she does they can backfire in very messy and sometimes painful ways but on the bright side shes almost a level four (mha edits)

Eijiro Kirishima [ ]

- Member of a race of ancient dragon people. Found by Bakugou in the Beast's Forest, and is now his dragon companion. (by Stormy248)

-Kirishima was turned into a dragon at an early age. He still remembers being human, though. He spent every day with Bakugo and did everything he could to make him happy. For Bakugo was the only friend he ever had. Then came Kaminari, Kirishima warmed up to him quickly. funny enough Kaminari already had a way to change Kirishima back to a human both him and Bakugou are great full. But that's not all now he can transform into the dragon and back to human at will though he only does this to fight.(Weirdo_Homeland)

Tsuyu Asui [ ]

-Tsu works at her family's in ''Froppy Inn and Cafe''. Her family was cursed to turn into frogs slowly. Tsu is the only one left who still hasn't turned into a frog. Someone needs to take of the family business, and ya girl is doing it! Mina helps her at times even though she dreams of venturing else here.

Tsu wishes to help Midoriya on his quest. Tsu and Deku as she call Mydoriya have been childhood friends so she has trained with him since they met. She wants one final adventure before all she can say is "Ribbit!" (Weirdo_Homeland)

Yuga Aoyama [ ]

-An odd villager who gets along with many people. Though he's just a little weird.

-He's always been fascinated by sparkly and shiny things

-Has a very weak stomach.

-Although he may seem as he appears to be, he is still training as a paladin to live up to people's expectations (Expectations of his strengths) even though he requires delicate equipment to be able to control the magic he wields. (By AbyeKotoriAssuko)

Hanta Sero [ ]

Sero hangs with Kaminari and Mineta to create The Bronze Musketeers! They fight monsters, save girls, and GET GOOD HAREM! Well, they used to at least. All For One released all the tough villains in the land. They were so tough they didn't stand a chance against them! Now he and mineata just hang out in a tailor shop. Kaminari went to train that inspired Sero to train as well though he didn't travel. (Working for the famous tailor, Best Jeanist) (Weirdo_Homeland)

-Sero and Mineta found Bakugo and Kirishima and reunited with Kaminari in their village

Minoru Mineta [ ]

-He starts out as a lecherous person he has no problem two timing females unlike Kaminari and Sero who just are looking for some love and say those things as jokes Mineata is serious and he is cowardly after the All for one attack between him, Kaminari, and Sero he is the only who doesn't grow once Kaminari gets a girlfriend he becomes jealous and horrible going as far to try to hurt Kirishima and attempts to hurt Jirou and failed at both he decides to join all for one but in the midst of battle Kaminari gives him one last chance but he declines and hurts Kaminari but Kaminari knocks him out afterward he is sentenced to a life time in prison.

Mina Ashido [ ]

-Tended a flower store run by her family with many varieties of pretty flowers next to the Tsu's Inn.

-hangs out with Sero at the village. She likes Sero. But he doesn't know but one day oh he will.

- Joined the Bakugou's clan after learning combat from him. (by Stormy248)

Denki Kaminari [ ]

- Although the weapons of the times are advanced, as a fletcher, he gained the talent of archery. Even though he uses guns, I believe that he prefers archery. After the All for one attack Kaminari went on his own to train. While he was training he found some rare transformation magic and decided to keep it and he was struck by lightning which suddenly gave him an affinity for electricity magic something no one has seen before so it was new. along the way he encounters Bakugou and he hires him. He goes on a few adventures with them before reuniting with Sero and Mineata then when their group meets Mydoriya group he starts to like Jirou and vice versa (they start dating). Now after spending time with him Kirishima and Kaminari are best friends.

After he meets with Jirou he starts to become more dependable and strong and growing out of his playboy tendencies and so he quickly starts to like Jirou a lot but is to nervous to do the asking out and Jirou beats him to it. He starts to loathe Mineata as he has been triple timing girls and Kaminari is mad at him for not growing despite having the chance and he was proud of Sero for doing that growing up but still giving Mineata a chance it doesn't happen and mineata joins the side of evil after that he is heartbroken but is helped by his friends and swares he will turn him in as he tried to to hurt Kirishima and Jirou out of spite and jealousy.

During the battle Kaminari has a face off with Mineata and he tries to give him one more chance to be better but Mineata ends up injuring Kaminari but Kaminari managed to knock him out.

Kaminari offens goes to bakugo's home, to hang out. He teases Kirishima by messing up his hair. slowly, he gains a crush on kirishima.

Momo Yaoyorozu [ ]

-Being the soon-to-be queen of the Creatorian Kingdom, Momo Yaoyorozu is a very wise and elegant lady whose revered all throughout her kingdom. However, even though Momo cares very deeply for her people and has always wanted the best for them, ever since she was young she's always felt this sense of longing, for something more, but due to her position as the princess, Momo was never granted the ability to experience things most other children her age did. Furthermore, one day Momo would be introduced to her new assistant and future best friend, Kyoka Jirou, and from that day forth in secret, the two children would often sneak out of the castle and wander the city. But while adventuring in the city Momo and Jirou would stumble upon a man by the name of Hisashi Yamada, he would later go on to tell the two children many stories of his and his friends' grand adventures throughout the frontier, only serving to spark the two children's need for adventure. But to their dismay, they would never get the chance to go on adventures slaying monsters and saving townsfolk because news would arise from the kingdom of Endeavour that their king, Enji Todoroki, would love to arrange a marriage between his son and the heir of the Creatorian Kingdom. Seeing that their opportunity for adventure is slowly slipping from their grasps, Momo and Jirou would make the decision to sneak out of the castle one final time to partake in a grand quest before Momo would be subjected to her fate of being locked within tower forever within the Todoroki castle. These two would later go on to join Midoriya and his friends on their quest to save the world from the forces of chaos while also being tracked down by both the Creatorian and Endeavour kingdoms. Though once everything is over she escapes her fate by two things her participation in the battle and Shoto Todoroki taking over as ruler. She along with her knight Kaminari and assistant Jirou created a light bulb run by electricity.

Mashirao Ojiro [ ]

-Oijro was recognized for his agility and prowess in hand-to-hand combat.

-As a ninja, he is still mastering the art of stealth, but he has tracking down to a fine art. He and Hagakure are together. (rezzoch)

Kyouka Jirou [ ]

- Jirou is Momo's personal assistant. She never liked Momo in a romantic way though she would not reject Momo but Momo didn't like her that way. She excels in swordsmanship and has a great taste for adventure. She plays music to make Momo happy she loves playing music for everyone especially Momo and Kaminari and even taught Kaminari. She's a healer in the Creation Kingdom. Where in the Creation Kingdom? Hillside Valley is where you will find her cottage. Once she meets Kaminari she takes an obvious interest in him and momo is glad for her and supports her which leads her to ask Kaminari out after one week of knowing him it was also obvious that Kaminari also liked Jirou. She starts dating Kaminari once Mydoriya and Bakugous group meet she absolutely loves to tease Kaminari she finds him adorable and although her teasing can be harsh it's coming from a loving place though she hates Mineata for good reason before he turns evil she wanted Kaminari and Sero to stop hanging out with him cause he is a bad influence and she is a excellent judge of character she knew both Kaminari and Sero are great people despite their a bit pervy ways she knew that they just wanted to be loved though for Mineata he was just appalling.

after the battle she asked Kaminari, Bakugou, Sero, Mina, and Kirishima to live with her and momo at their castle cause she knew Kaminari couldn't just leave them so she got Momo permission and they accepted. She helped Momo and Kaminari create a light bulb that used electricity.

Mezo Shoji [ ]

-Shoji is a knight belonging to Momo's family - has amazing swordsman skills for battle.

He is good friends with Tokoyami when they meet up they always go on a quest together despite being both strong silent types they get along easy.

Tooru Hagakure [ ]

- She was cursed by a dark mage, and she is forever invisible.

-This means her stealth is good though, so she is friends with Mashirao Ojiro, who she is helping with his stealth skills. She and Ojiro are together. (rezzoch)

Fumikage Tokoyami [ ]

- Trains with Keigo Takami, (Hawks) one of the best warriors in all the land.

-Was possessed by a demon taking the form of a spirited raven when he was younger. He learned to control it, and have it help in combat. He values his friends above anything else and if they are hurt he goes berserk he is friends with everyone but his close ones are Mydoriya, Kaminari, and Tsuyu though his best friend is Shoji.

Koji Koda - Animal Whisperer/Villager [ ]

Was recognized for his ability to talk to animals. (Doesn't talk that much to actual people though.)

-A nice villager, who is not violent, and not normally seen fighting, yelling, and even talking. But he just has some sort of touch with animals!

-The village kids call him Snow White, which he takes as more of a compliment rather than looking at it's intended meaning. (rezzoch)

Rikido Sato [ ]

- He owns his own little bakery in the village where he sells his popular sweets.

- Becomes friends with Deku and co when they are starving and he provides them with hospitality and cake. (rezzoch)

Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu [ ]

-He is a duelist in the fighting pit he loves a good brawl he was originally just a peasant but worked his way up from the bottom and is now Todoroki pupil and knight but only recently like 1 week ago so they haven't gotten to close but after meeting Kirishima he has a friendly Rivalry with him.

Itsuka Kendo [ ]

-She is a rivaling Kingdom with Momo though for unknown reasons she actually rules her kingdom though once meeting her she call it off she was just testing the grounds though once she meets Todoroki's pupil Tetsutetsu she wants him as her Boyfriend she notes that while he is single minded it's a good thing as he knows his strengths and weaknesses but doggedly presses on. her personal knight Monoma is trouble she has to keep him in check.

Neito Monoma [ ]

-He has a serious inferiority complex but cares for who he is close to while disdainful to those who he thinks that they think are superior though if he recognizes that they aren't that he can be impressed but that's not often but his heart in ultimately good.

Ibara Shiozaki [ ]

-She is a priest and head of the church she is oblivious and unaware of most things though she has a very confusing way of talking to people she cares for she is kind and one for theatrics.

Yosetsu Awase [ ]

-He is a blacksmith and a good one at that he makes all of the weapons in the kingdom that is run by Kendo and he is a pretty good swordsman when he first laid eyes on Momo he liked her though he is to humble to think she could like him back but in reality Momo does take an interest in him but whether it's romantic or just interest is unknown.

Dabi [ ]

Manga spoilers!!

- Dabi, or Touya Todoroki, was banished from the kingdom by his father. Nobody really knows what exactly happened, but after months of oddly violent behaviour from Dabi (including multiple areas in the palace catching fire), his father exiled him in the belief that he had been cursed by a demon or a dark spirit. -Touya/Dabi was born with a body meant to use ice magic but instead ended up manifesting Endeavour's fire magic. However, this version of Endeavour's was more powerful. Endeavour trained Touya very harshly, to the point where his powers burst and caught the room he was training in on fire. Touya was able to climb out of the window and escape, leaving his family to believe he died. After changing his appearance, he lives on the streets for roughly 10 years. After hearing about Stain, a barbarian, he seeks out the 'League' to ruin the Todoroki family's reputation, (mainly Endeavor's.) [Headcanon by YumiLasagna1]

Touya Todoroki was born from the hellfire kingdom who was ruled by The second powerful king Endeavour also known as Enji Todoroki, His body was meant to use Ice magic like his mother Rei Todoroki/Himura but instead he ended up manifesting Endeavour's Hell Fire magic. However his magic was more powerful than his father, He was trained harshly one he was distant to his siblings but he most likely despites Shoto Todoroki his youngest brother ever since he cam Touya was ignored by his father but his mother was there until one day after a harsh training Touya's power was out of his control his body was in so much pain and once the incident was done his body was halfly burned making his skin purple, When touya finally has enough of his father's abouse he left leaving his poor mother and siblings to his father he was becoming a rebel After ten years have past he heard about the strongest group called "The League of Villans".

Himiko Toga [ ]

-Toga is a thief who normally has her head in the clouds. She's an airhead but deadly. She first saw Midoriya when he and Ochaco were travelling together with Iida and didn't meet Todoroki yet.

-She's followed Midoriya and Uraraka for a while, then realizing Midoriya is one of the few people that interested her.

-Her obsessive crush on him becomes dangerous as the days stretch on. She even uses her shapeshift magic to look like Ochaco so she could kidnap Izuku! (luckily, this was an unsuccessful attempt.) (rezzoch)

Tomura Shigaraki [ ]

- Got mysterious powers from All for One, and is trying to destroy the world for no apparent reason, other than the fact that he hates people in general he hates people for despite being heroes never looks at the small people who need more help then anyone for passing him by when he needed help until all for one gave him that help after all for ones defeat Shigaraki takes the lead and is now where all for one once was. Tenko Shimura was raised in amazing noble house hold but his father was not always nice he was abusive as a child he wanted to become a warrior and help those who are in need but due to his father's abusive personality he manifested a decaying magic meaning whatever he touch turns into dust he manifested in a wrong time, While crying and his dog comforting him he suddenly heard his dog whimper Tenko looked at his dog until he saw his dog turn into dust he heard a scream he then saw his sister screaming Tenko ran to his sister (Hana Shimura) in shock she tried to run due to her suddenly killing his dog Tenko grabbed his sister's dress but his magic activated again then his sister turned into dust he then touched the floor and unexpectedly accidentaly killing his mom and grandparents, Tenko Shimura ran in shock out of his house then he was caught by a dangerous moster named All for one.

Tenko was now in a disgued new name called Tomura Shigaraki named by All for one who was once human before he found out his true powers, Tenko was actually a bloodline of a powerful worrior queen named Nana Shimura his grandmother she was the mother of Kotaro Shimura his father.

Shouta Aizawa (Eraserhead) [ ]

-Aizawa encountered a mage, like others who gained powers. The mage did give him powers, although Aizawa didn't find a use for them until he started hunting evil sorcerers, mages, wizards, and witches. (He can cancel out magic around him for 1-3 hours.)

- Has had little attachments to anything. Though, as one of the top bounty hunters in his land, he was recruited to take care of a little pixie (Eri) who can spiral out of control, he's the only one who can stop her.

- Very few know his actual name. He goes by the alias "Eraser Head" due to his uncanny ability to cancel out spells performed against him for a limited time. (by Stormy248)

- Has somewhat of a father-son relationship between him and Shinsou. Once Aizawa discovered that Shinsou had the potential to work as a bounty hunter, he recruited Shinso as his apprentice.(by Stormy248)

Hizashi Yamada (Present Mic) [ ]

- He's Aizawa's Husband . He finds people who are on quests and makes songs for them, to motivate them to not give up.

-Don't get fooled by his friendly singing voice, because his voice can be extremely loud when he has to defend himself or others from evil people.

Eri [ ]

- Eri was abandoned by her mother after she found out she had powers accidently killed her dad, eri's mom gave eri to her grandfather and then her grandfather went into a coma from a dark spell, then overhaul was her foster father sorta then Overhaul used her magic power to create illegal magic destroying drugs.

-Eri was never really been happy until the town festival, when she was put in the care of Aizawa, he made her feel safe in the to and she started to train her quirk to help mirio get his back.

-Her favourite food is any sort of apples, preferably sweet or candied.

Mirio Togata [ ]

- Teamed up with the nature spirit Nejire Hado and the elf Tamaki Amajiki to form a heroic group known to villagers as the Big 3. (by Stormy248)

Nejire Hado [ ]

Tamaki Amajiki [ ]

- Teamed up with the knight Mirio Togata and the nature spirit Nejire Hado to form a heroic group known to villagers as the "Big 3". (by Stormy248)

- Tamaki is the type of druid that you'd find lurking around small crevices of forests or any woodland area if he's not with Mirio or Nejire. He's mostly found in bigger trees with butterflies in it, magical or not. He can be approached by any adventurer of the sort other than Mirio or Nejire but he will flee when a conversation is engaged. (AbyeKotoriAssuko)

- As an elf, he is a high being, especially being a druid. He holds quite a lot of mana and is able to do magic almost flawlessly, but is too fearful to do so. (AbyeKotoriAssuko)

Toshinori Yagi (All Might) [ ]

- A powerful paladin, Subject to an ancient prophecy, has saved countless lives many times from the Dark Wizard "All For One" and his minions. He, unfortunately, had to step down and retire due to his serious injuries from his many battles. Though, he meets a young man named Izuku Midoriya and trains him in the ways of the paladin, giving him his incredible magic powers to one day defeat the Dark Wizard "All For One".

Kai Chisaki / Overhaul [ ]

- Chisaki harvest fairy magic from a bizarre fairy named Eri. Because of her horn, her powers are crazy powerful. She can reverse people's ages and turn people into cute animals. But her powers are used for the wrong purposes that cause chaos! (Weirdo_Homeland) bruh

All For One [ ]

- Defeated All Might 10 years ago. Now he's trying to kill Midoriya and his friends because they are trying to stop him whilst he wishes to remain all-powerful. He is stopped and put in prison but he has a back up plan in Shigaraki. (Weirdo_Homeland)

Hitoshi Shinsou [ ]

- Pay him enough and he'll kill anyone. (Weirdo_Homeland)

- Has somewhat of a father-son relationship between him and Aizawa. Once Aizawa discovered that he and Shinsou had similar abilities that would work well together, they've been a team since. He is good friends with Kaminari. (by Stormy248)

Keigo Takami (Hawks) [ ]

- He's friends with both the heroes and the villains. If he's with his hero friends, he'll defend you. if he's with his villain friends, he'll make your life a nightmare. Just choose the right time to meet him! (Weirdo_Homeland) (what the fluff)

Gigantomachia [ ]
